The <\/span>Food Runner<\/span><\/i> serves guests by acting as the primary link between the kitchen and the dining room.<\/span><\/p>

  • Functional Relationships:<\/b> Entire dining room staff<\/span><\/li>
  • Reporting To:<\/b> Director \/ Manager, Head Waiter (<\/span>Ma\u00eetre d’h\u00f4tel<\/span><\/i>) \/ Section Waiter (<\/span>Chef de rang<\/span><\/i>)<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Key Responsibilities\u00a0:<\/b><\/p>

    Setup & Mise en Place<\/b><\/p>

    • Set (<\/span>dresser<\/span><\/i>) and clear tables<\/span><\/li>
    • Set up service stations (<\/span>consoles de service<\/span><\/i>)<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Service Operations<\/b><\/p>

      • Perform food service duties<\/span><\/li>
      • Ensure seamless delivery of dishes between the kitchen and guest tables<\/span><\/li>
      • Replenish bread, drinks, condiments, etc.<\/span><\/li>
      • Clear tables<\/span><\/li>
      • Listen to guest requests and attend to their needs (e.g., salt, pepper, oil, reheating a dish)<\/span><\/li>
      • Maintain and clean the dining area<\/span><\/li>
      • Comply with industry-specific hygiene and quality standards<\/span><\/li>
      • Store and organize service utensils at the end of service<\/span><\/li>
      • Reset and organize the dining room after service<\/span><\/li>
      • Clean and sanitize tables between guest seatings<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
